ARADATUM
Energy Fuels Start-Up
Detroit infratech start-up Aradatum manufactures 200-foot-tall mobile, self-powered towers that enable universal communication and connectivity access. The company proved the engineering works with scale models and a beta site in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. It now awaits completed production and delivery of full-scale working towers. The four pilot towers will be strategically placed throughout the U.S. to validate real-world expectations.
THE SITUATION
Aradatum demonstrated its technology with a full-scale prototype in northern Michigan. It raised millions in seed funding and continues to attract investors. They weren’t anywhere on the telecommunications industry map. As is often the case, start-ups struggle to generate attention and investment in tried and true market segments.
PROJECT
Aradatum needed to build on its credibility to play in the telecom market. DYS Media developed a 12-month plan to get it connected with the right reporters with the right publications to ensure the right consumers received their message.
THE SKY IS THE LIMIT
TACTICS
-
DYS Media worked with Aradaum to identify the customers who would most likely need their product.

We searched those keywords to find the reporters and publications who could best deliver Aradatum’s value proposition to consumers and investors.
-
We delivered valuable information about the company and its role as an emerging technology to the media contacts we identified.
-
We helped media contacts to find story angles that would most appeal to their readers.
RESULTS
-
DYS Media earned 25 articles about Aradatum in such publications as Forbes, Inside Towers, Crain’s Detroit Business, Fierce Wireless, Total Telecom and Renewable Energy Magazine.
-
The telecommunications industry took notice. Aradatum’s towers are in the final stage of development and will soon head to market.
